Cool as heck content, thanks for opening my mind up to this level of potential science. It would make sense if this all ends up true.

Amazing insight, thanks.

Woah, that is super interesting. Especially interesting they are still fighting to keep things classified after 40-50 years.

This actually happened? Pretty impressive

This is super interesting, thanks for sharing.

Typically I'm used to seeing news stories about tech from this year, 1964 is an interesting change of pace.

The “Real court documents, not a rant.” is the perfect closer and I applaud the inclusion...solid gold.

Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Files should include any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.

The effort spans dozens of agencies and tens of millions of records, many of which exist only on paper. The first tranche focuses on cases where the government has been unable to make a definitive determination on the nature of the phenomena observed.

These documents had long fueled justified speculation.

The Intelligence Community's declassification efforts were being coordinated with the Department of War, and the release was the first in an ongoing joint effort.

This transcription covers the original directive, the confirmed scope of the first release, and statements from the Secretary of War and Director of National Intelligence. Successive PURSUE releases are being published on the Department of War's public archive on a rolling, multi-week schedule.

Directive: Presidential directive, February 19, 2026.

Program: PURSUE, Department of War, first release May 8, 2026.
