Cool as heck content, thanks for opening my mind up to this level of potential science. It would make sense if this all ends up true.

Amazing insight, thanks.

Woah, that is super interesting. Especially interesting they are still fighting to keep things classified after 40-50 years.

This actually happened? Pretty impressive

Typically I'm used to seeing news stories about tech from this year, 1964 is an interesting change of pace.

The “Real court documents, not a rant.” is the perfect closer and I applaud the inclusion...solid gold.

PUBLIC RECORD

The government just started actually releasing UAP files, under a real named program

PURSUEUAP DisclosureDepartment of War2026

On February 19, 2026, the president directed the Department of War and other federal agencies to begin identifying and releasing government files related to extraterrestrial life, UAP, and UFOs. Unlike similar announcements in years past, this one actually produced something. On May 8, 2026, the Department of War published its first real tranche of declassified UAP records under a formally named initiative, PURSUE, the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters, with officials stating the effort spans dozens of agencies and tens of millions of records, many existing only on paper, and promising new releases every few weeks.

Eighty years of American secrecy, in the government's own words, the same institutional pattern this page's real disclosure fits into.

The initial May 2026 tranche was deliberately scoped to cases where the government has been unable to reach a definitive determination about what was observed, not a dump of everything at once. FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed his agency had handed over its first batch of classified UAP material to the Pentagon-led interagency committee coordinating the effort, and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard stated the intelligence community's declassification work is being run jointly with the Department of War, describing it as the first step in an ongoing, continuing process rather than a one-time release.

Government UAP disclosure has a long history of announcements that produced little. This effort is distinguished by having an actual named program, a real public archive, and officials on record committing to a recurring release schedule rather than a single report. Former AATIP director Luis Elizondo, who ran the Pentagon's own UAP program years before this initiative, described the scale of the undertaking as a tremendous task given the sheer volume of accumulated material, comparing it to opening a very large, very old filing cabinet nobody has fully catalogued.

This establishes that a real, formally named federal declassification program is actively releasing UAP-related government records as of 2026, spanning multiple agencies, with a real first tranche already public and further releases confirmed as ongoing. This is directly confirmed by the Department of War's own public statements and its published archive.

What this does not establish is that any released material confirms extraterrestrial origin for any specific case. The program's own framing is explicitly about cases lacking a definitive explanation, not confirmed evidence of anything beyond that, and officials have been careful to distinguish "we don't have an explanation yet" from "the explanation is extraterrestrial."
